I was a nontraditional student, who grew up primarily in the Yakima Valley. I was fortunate to attend Yakima Valley College where I was supported by my instructors and was introduced to undergraduate research. After YVC, I transferred to CWU and earned a bachelor’s degree. I just finished my Master’s degree at Central Washington University in Higher Education Administration (M.Ed.). My position as an Academic Intervention Coordinator is great because I get to work with such a diverse group of students! I thrive in a college environment where I can utilize my organizational skills, personal history and desire to create positive change in student lives. I value a team environment where support, creativity and collaboration are encouraged. I look forward to the support we can offer our students with our future collaboration efforts.
