Wrap-around Academic Advising and Career Exploration
Information for STEM Related Job and Internship Placement Opportunities
Workshops and Individualized Support for resume writing, job application and undergraduate research application preparation
Mentoring by current WSU graduate students (in partnership with WSU-IAREC in Prosser)
Paid undergraduate research opportunities (Labs and research projects coming soon. Link to URST app coming soon.)
Workshops and Individualized Support in navigating the graduate school admission and financial aid process
ELIGIBILITY:
In order to qualify for the CRESCENT Program, you must:
Be enrolled at Heritage University
Have declared a STEM major or intend to declare a STEM major including: Biology, Environmental Science, Math, Pre-Engineering, etc.
EXPECTATIONS:
To participate in the CRESCENT Program, these are required:
Consistent communication with CRESCENT Program staff and faculty about academic progress
Attend CRESCENT Cohort Meetings
Participate in academic support opportunities (tutoring, workshops, seminars, mentoring, and field trips)
Participate in either the Undergraduate Research Student Training (URST) Fellowship or an undergraduate research experience or internship
Complete one or more graduate school or job applications prior to graduation
